About Us

Our Story

Bear Creek Farms is a family-run operation located right here in Texas, and they take their cattle raising seriously. David started Bear Creek Farm in 1975 with his wife Jeannie, and his two daughters. They started with a small commercial herd and worked their way up to the large Registered Angus herd that we operate today. David and Jeannie's grandchildren, Blaine Alexander and Katelyn Alexander Parsons, grew up in the operation and have now begun to take the reins. Keeping Bear Creek Farms a family passion.

They currently focus on Registered Angus cattle, all raised on their own farm using all-natural methods. Bear Creek Farms beef is from steers that have been bred for their superior genetics, including a standard for marbling and tenderness that you can taste in every bite.

Today, Bear Creek has country store locations in Leonard, TX and Bells, TX along with their new meat market neighboring the Leonard location.
